Vickie has been with the university since 2005 in the Office of Sponsored Research, Post Award. In her capacity as Senior Grants Financial Manager, she is responsible for overseeing the financial administration of sponsored projects including project set up, budget, billing, financial reporting, compliance and close out. She works with the faculty, administrators and staff and assists them with their post award needs.

Prior to this position, she has worked in sponsored research at the University of Miami and in private industry in the accounting field. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration here at Florida International University and is an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA).
