| Eligible applicants are primarily from law enforcement agencies in the southern border or in HIDTAs combating criminal narcotics activity stemming from the southern border, as well as from national, state, regional, or local public and private entities, including for-profit (commercial) and nonprofit organizations, faith-based and community organizations, institutions of higher education, tribal jurisdictions, units of local government that provide needed assistance and equipment to law enforcement along the southern border of the United States. |
